I went to sinhagad this sunday , along with me were 3 youngsters who had sugar candies with them.
They also booked a ticket for sinhagad base.
Unfortunately the road from donje phata to atkarwadi is being repaired so the bus dropped everyone at donje phata.
I took a rickshaw via an alternate route to the base.
I started my trek from base , as i approached the top i was surprised to see the sugar candy sellers climbing. They were fast and soon over took me. I enquired with them and it seems they walked all the way from donje phata to atkarwadi.
I was shocked to know that , these three guys did a bus journey , walked a 3 km road and then trekked up the fort only to sell some 100 candies.
Do people need to really work so hard to make a living ??
