New Family in Pune

New family in Pune.

Recently I was diagnosed with dengue, I needed to be hospitalized.
At the same time my mother-in-law had a pain in her knees. She was advised to take rest.

Even though she herself was in pain, she took great care of me.
Together my father in law and mother in law , arranged my breakfast, lunch, snacks and dinner.
They took care that I was not left alone even for a minute.
Mama would come to hospital at seven thirty in morning with tea and juice.
Many days he skipped his work to take care of me.

Not only mama and mami but Akka and Maai helped a lot.
I am lucky to have a family in Pune which cares so much for me.

Hindu religion does not stop evil

Religion is supposed to be a way of life.
It is supposed to take human beings to a higher good.

However religion I feel has not been successful in creating a fear in the minds of evil.
Hindu religion says that if you do good deeds you will be born as a human in next life.
However there is no proof for this theory.
Whatever your bad deeds are, you are going to pay for them in the next life.
This doesn't in anyway create a fear of consequences in the minds of evil.

Also religion says there will be one god who will fight against evil.
Therefore people themselves don't take any action.
They wait for the supreme to solve their problems.
I feel that only way for us to stop the evil is that all good needs to come together.
Unless the good come together evil will always succeed.

The dilemma of the new age husband

Men of my age grew up seeing our mothers take care of the family.
She sacrifices her own self , her interests for the sake of family.
This image is somehow etched into our minds.

When we grow up we unconsciously link our mothers to the kind of life partners we want.
We unconsciously want our families to be nurtured the same way that we were nurtured.
But in modern day life is changing.
We are living at times wherein both partners need to work and be financially independent.
In today's world the female partner wants to work, she wants to follow her own passions and wants to live life her own way.

While gender equality is understood it goes against our image of the family we are brought up with.
This creates a huge dilemma for the modern day husband,
The pre-conceived image and the new age demands keep conflicting..

My liking for doctors

I have a habit of going to doctor for every small ailment.
This is in contrast to most people I stayed with in my life.
Somesh, Brijesh , Ashish hardly went to doctor.

I guess I go to doctors since I have a desire to solve the problem and know its root cause.
I always like to solve the problem and not live with the problem.
I do not want to keep complaining about issue rather take medicines and fix it.
A good doctor tells u how to avoid such problems in future.

That's the reason why I go to doctors .. and I will continue to do so :)

Why criticise when you can contribute ?

Recently figured out that I criticize things a lot.
Worse still, when I am assigned to improve the things I am criticizing I do a worse job.

I realized this when I was assigned as SCRUM master for my project.
In one day I messed up more than anybody else.

This also explains my fascination for AAP which does the same thing (criticize the world)

However I need to learn now to contribute to improvise rather than criticize.
If we can improve then lets do it else just accept the things as they are.

Only criticizing about things is only going to make me more unhappy with my life.
